Hello Canada!

Hello Canada! I arrived safely last night after a nice long car ride to Niagra Falls on the Canadian side. We are staying at the KOA campground. Not a bad place, has a lot of things to do. including free wi fi service. woo hoo!!! i'm leaving tomorrow so not much time to do a lot of the touristy things. we are trying to visit a wax mueseum and a few other things. will have to wait and see how things work out. Have Fun!

3 am Television

At three this morning i was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch since i couldn't sleep and i found a show that was like the home shopping network of erotic toys. they treated it just like that. The two female host were hawking various toys and seemed to enioy themselves. it was kind of funny to think they have such a thing. i hadn't seen it before. i wonder how many people actually use this show to order their toys. i know i wouldn't. i'd rather go to the privacy of my local neighborhood adult book store. at least there they know my name. LOL! never been inside the local place just keep seeing all the fun commercials they have trying to entice you to visit.

Summer Vacation

This summer has been interesting. I've been to a birthday party for a relative that turned 80, found out my grandpa has cancer,hung out with a friend on several occasins, found out a college course I'm set to start in two weeks is cancelled; I'm in a scramble to get in touch with my advisor to see what she suggest I do, and I might be going up to canada for a few days in a few days.

This will be one of my most memorable summer vacations because of what's happened.

Two weeks of vacation left. Where has it all gone?

Another bashing-- via comments

i'm not sorry one bit that i didn't publish a comment from some anymous idiot who thinks its funny to bash trekkies. this person said and i quote "The actors on the show(s) are not your "friends". They are just actors. Tine for YOU to grow up, trekie boy."

last time i knew i wasn't a boy. and i know that the actors aren't my friends though they are friendly at conventions. been to two of those.

you need to learn to use this thing called spell check. it seems like you need to grow up and get a life and learn the difference between a boy and a girl.

trekkie has two k's not one. not two t's like i said earlier.. i'm human give me a break!!!

Coolest Thing About Trek

Star Trek has been mentioned, spoofed, and what have you on so many things from tv to movies and everything in between. The best is Family Guy and Futurama, they have done some of the coolest kick ass spoofs ever even some with cast members making fun of themselves.Who doesn't like it when someone makes fun of themselves. I do it all the time.

There are even documentaries. Can't go wrong there unless you end up taking a nap. ZZZZZ........

People with nothing better to say

I recently checked out how some people are checking out my lovely blog and found two sites whose names i will not mention posted the link and started bashing me. they don't know me. i like posting because i like sharing my thoughts with their world. i don't care if there's comments are not. its a great way for me to express myself with the world. Some people need to get their heads out of their ass and grow up. Who gives a crap about what some home brewers have to say or some guys with an interest in surf music. and for anyones info i'm not a dude. never have been never will be.

i'm proud to be a trekkie. i love blogging and no little dudes who think it's fun to bash a complete stranger in some forum i don't even go to will never ever stop me. i have a ton of friends at college. i don't have a lot of comments on here because of mostly people like the idiots who bashed me at some homebrewed alcoholics and surf music forums that think their all high and mighty and their not. i've got the comment moderation turned on so before one's posted i can approve or diaspprove it. mostly their junk that's why there isn't so many. people need and i emphasize the need to do their research before opening their mouth and spewing lies.

Just because i'm a trekkie don't mean i'm living in my parents basement and am a forty year old guy. sorry to spoil your fun. their not going to ruin my fun. i will keep blogging forever.

spring

Spring is finally here. Woo hoo! no more ten million layers of clothing for me. just a light jacket or sweatshirt at best.

Downside allergies. i will be a sniffling sneezing fool soon.better get out the tissues and allergy stuff non drowsy of course. don't need to fall asleep in class.

If the Geico cavemen get a sitcom does that mean sitcoms are so easy a caveman can get one. What commercal icon gets their own sitcom next. yes i remeber that talking baby bob got a sitcom. whose next tucan sam, tony the tiger?

Star Trek Beyond the Final Frontier

The history channel special aired tonight. it was pretty interesting. why is it when they show trek fans on tv they show the super crazy ones? why not some of us that are semi crazy? i guess if you quirky then you're guaranteed fifteen minutes of fame or shame depending on the person. talk to those of us out there that have gone to cons but dress normal. or those of us who have collection that may not be impressive but within our means. how about letting us get a chance to own a piece of trek we can afford? not the people with no limits and a good exchange rate. ebay makes it easier but it can be limiting at times.

Winter Storm Warning

Got a winter storm warning in effect from 3 pm to 7 pm tomorrow. Woo hoo! it actually evolved into a heavy snow warning. wow!! they have a warning for everything. what's next too many squirrel attack warning! there's a squirrel warning in effect for the tri-state area. The risk is very high for squirrels attacking. don't go out if you can and hide all of your nut and nut products..

Virtual Villagers

Virtual villagers is a great real time game. The premise your little villagers are the survivors of a disaster and end up on an island( sounds a little like Gilligan's Island) and you have to help them survive. Training your people to become parents, farmers, researchers, doctors, and builders. You basically drag the little people around. Might take a few tries to get them to do what you want but they do catch on. When the little villagers go indoors their basically going into their little love shack. occasionally they come out the proud parents. sometimes there's immaculate conception involved too.

this game can be a bit addictive. it's fun.

One Month

Exactly one month till my birthday. Wow!!

Cold

Winter has finally arrived and it's come with avengance. its really really cold. so cold you could stick your tounge out and it stick to a pole without touching a pole. it's that cold. its so cold my ice cubes are bundled up to stay warm. it's so cold that jack frost is even trying to stay warm.

i go to the college that never closes. we did just get a new dean that has the say in the weather stuff that just came up from florida so maybe it'll be too cold for him to want to leave his house. one can dream.

Another book for MySpace

Saw another great book for those who use or want to use MySpace. It's learn Visually Myspace. Just great. What's next? How about how to avoid myspace at all cost and save yourself from unwanted consequences. or how not to use myspace. the possibilities are endless.

Creepy Commercial

Right now the creepiest commercial on tv has to be the new Orville Redenbacher popcorn commercial. I think it has to do with the new orville. It's just not right or sane. I can't really stand to watch it.

I Survived

I survived the first week of classes. The two and only two that I have. I don't really hav any homework yet. Just you're basic read a chapter and answer a few questions. Not really work.

hopefully next week is the same. highly doubtful but hey what can you do.

Back to thinking

tomorrow is my first day back to college after a nice three week break. time to get up and get around at six to catch the bus. a daily task. it's nice not to drive. the ride might be a bit longer than actualy driving there but it saves on gas money. it's a dollar each way. i like my friends on the bus. we have so much fun. i'm the life of the party. our one bus driver is a hoot. we have fun with him.

well better enjoy my last moments of freedom before homework, test and so much more.
